The Navi Mumbai Metro is the new rapid transit system for the Indian city of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. This work is supervised by the Corporation for the Development of the City and Industry (CIDCO), which has proposed the construction of six railway lines that will cover a total of 106.4 kilometers away, serving a population of 2.6 million people.
Construction work is currently underway on Line 1 of the subway, which will have 11 stations and an extension of 11.10 kilometers, ranging from CBD Belapur to Pendhar.
The objective of the project is the design and development of the central system and the configuration tests of remote control equipment that will allow centralized management and control of the state of the road at all times, providing real-time information for decision-making, reinforce the security and quality of the service, reduce the risk of incidents and optimize the use of resources.
Likewise, the implementation of a state-of-the-art Ticketing system for access control and ticketing is planned, which will have Contactless technology, which among other things will allow offering a better service and better information to the traveler. This solution will also have portable reloading and inspection equipment, which will allow card recharging and card inspection directly on trains and platforms.
