Equality Plans are the tools through which companies, after analyzing their situation, implement measures to achieve equal treatment and opportunities between men and women, thus eliminating any discrimination based on gender in the workplace. With the entry into force of Royal Decree 901/2020, these plans have become mandatory for all companies with more than 50 workers, marking a milestone in the promotion of equality.
The right to equal treatment and opportunities is a fundamental pillar of our society, recognized in article 14 of the Spanish Constitution. However, to make this equality effective, specific regulations have been created that seek to guarantee it in all areas, including labor.
In this sense, we are pleased to announce that we have approved our Equality Plan for the period 2023-2027, which includes a series of notable measures to promote effective equality among all our employees:
• Preparation of an annual remuneration report disaggregated by sex.
• Creation of a protection protocol for female workers who are victims of gender violence.
• Preparation of an annual hiring report, broken down by sex.
• Creation of the sexual and gender-based harassment reporting channel and development of a protocol.
• Creation of an internal inclusive language guide.
The implementation of this Equality Plan represents for Ad Maiorem a significant advance in our social commitment. We aspire to be a leading company in the promotion of equal opportunities and the eradication of any form of gender discrimination in our work environment. We are committed to guaranteeing an impartial and fair selection process for everyone, regardless of their gender, valuing the experience and skills of each person.
In conclusion, equal treatment and opportunities between men and women is a fundamental objective in our company. With the implementation of our Equality Plan and compliance with current regulations, we take firm steps towards a future of work in which equity is the norm, thus reflecting our commitment to a more equal and fair society.
