The project aims to install the devices for obtaining data and data analysis from the GSS (Galileo Sensor Station, part of Ground Segment) as navigation signal receivers linked to the GSS Unid worldwide. It aims to integrate the system of these devices to a test platform in charge of verifying that all the teams involved meet the requirements requested by the GSS.
The GSS network is used to monitor the navigation signals of all satellites continuously. Collects and sends measurements and signal data (SIS) from the system to the Galileo Control Centers (GCC) in real time.
More specifically, they are used for the Orbitography Determination and Time Synchronization (OD&TS) function and for the Integrity Processing function (IPF). It is a global network that provides coverage for clock synchronization and orbit measurements.
Among the functionalities that we have developed this project, are:
- Installation and assembly of equipment on the testing platform.
- Development and maintenance of software tests.
- Execution of automatic and manual tests for the devices of the GSS network.
- Analysis of results and automation of tests.
