The 10th edition of the international exhibition for railway technologies, products and systems confirms its leadership and is positioned as the most important meeting point for professionals in the sector. Ad Maiorem was part of this event and used this showcase to reinforce its commercial connections in rail matters.
Francesco Cognata and Alessandro Assaro, CEO and Country Manager Italy of Ad Maiorem respectively, participated in the EXPO Ferroviaria 2021, an event that took place on September 28, 29 and 30 at the Fiera Milano Rho facilities, in Milan, Italy.
The EXPO Ferroviaria 2021 was a space in which the latest in railway technology, products and systems that the Italian market exports to the world was shown. It was the first major face-to-face event dedicated to the railway sector in Italy, after the pandemic, and saw the influx of up to 10,000 key representatives of the sector, including 7,000 visitors among managers, leaders and engineers, and the presence of 188 exhibitors, from 14 different countries. This event gave the opportunity to share, learn about and manage commercial and development ties for the national and foreign railway sector. On this occasion, the fair dedicated a special interest to technology applied to tunnels, providing companies specialized in the construction and equipment of tunnels and underground spaces a privileged location to exhibit their technological products and services.
In this regard, our CEO, Francesco Cognata, indicated that: “The EXPO Ferroviaria 2021 undoubtedly adds value to the work that, like Ad Maiorem, various companies have been doing in terms of new technological tools for the railway sector, and an important opportunity to know first-hand the main concerns and novelties in this sector, as well as the impacts depending on the world railway technological innovation scenario”.
For his part, Alessandro Assaro, Country Manager of the firm in that country, tells us that: “Events like these represent the best comparison table between the players in the railway sector. These days the development strategies of the Italian railway industry have been discussed, reaffirming the importance of the ecological and digital transition. These issues are very expensive and known to Ad Maiorem, which has been involved for years in issues such as the environment, sustainability, passenger safety and infrastructure. It has been an interesting occasion for us both to learn about the latest innovations and to build new successful relationships with the realities of the sector”.
